5. Exkursionen / Excursions

Exkursionsprogramm für Mittwoch, den 25. Juli 2007 Fünf verschiedene Touren werden am Exkursionstag angeboten. Die Kosten belaufen sich jeweils auf ca. 15–30 Euro pro Person bzw. 50 Euro für Exkursion Nr. 1. Der Betrag ist bei der Anmeldung auf dem Kongress zu entrichten. Dort erfahren Sie den genauen Treffpunkt sowie weitere Details für die jeweilige Exkursion. Da die Teilnehmerzahl jeweils begrenzt ist, möchte ich Sie bitten, sich möglichst bald für eine der Exkursionen unter der folgenden E-mail-Adresse anzumelden: congress.excursion@lvr.de.

You can choose between five different tours (subject to change). Excursion 1 costs €50. The prices for excursions 2-5 range between €15 and €30. You may pay for your chosen tour when registering for the congress and will then be given additional information on the excursion. As the number of participants for each excursion is limited, we suggest that you register in advance by sending an e-mail to the following address: congress.excursion@lvr.de.

7. Fotowettbewerb zum 13. ICCS / Photo-Competition at the XIII ICCS

Die Abteilung für Vergleichende Indogermanische Sprachwissenschaft und
Keltologie schreibt einen Fotowettbewerb zum 13. ICCS aus.

Es geht nicht etwa darum, das "witzigste Foto zu schießen", sondern darum, die
wissenschaftliche Atmosphäre während des Keltologenkongresses überzeugend
einzufangen. Gelegenheiten hierfür bieten zum Beispiel die Diskussionen, die
sich während der Pausen ergeben -- aber wir möchten höflich darum bitten,
davon abzusehen, die Vortragenden während ihrer Session zu stören!
Die drei besten Fotos werden mit den zukünftigen Tagungsakten belohnt.
Darüberhinaus werden alle eingereichten Fotos auf der Homepage der Keltologie
Bonn ausgestellt werden.

Einsendeschluß ist der 15. September 2007.

Photo-Competition at the XIII ICCS!

The Department for Celtic Studies and Comparative Indo-European Linguistics
organizes a Photo-Competition at the XIII ICCS.
It is not about shooting "the funniest picture", but about capturing the
academic atmosphere at the ICCS authentically. Opportunities might arise, for
example, during the discussions that will come up in the breaks -- but please
refrain from disturbing the lecturer in the course of a session!
The three best photos will be awarded with the forth-coming Proceedings of the
ICCS.
All the photos entered in the competition will be presented in the exposition
on the homepage of the Celtic Studies Department Bonn.

All entries to be submitted by the 15th of September 2007.
Please send the photos either to kwittman(at)uni-bonn.de or the conference
address.
